Thomas Joseph Rooney - April 5, 1948 - July 27, 2006

For those of you who have heard my testimony, Tom is the one who patiently and diligently shared the plan of salvation with me. I know I was chosen by God to be saved before I was born, but Tom is the one God chose to lead me to my precious Savior. My life and many others have been greatly touched though Tom. Tom's Blog tells more of the man who left this world a better place. Tom's funeral will be held on July 31, 2006.

You left a legacy far greater than you could have ever imagined Tom and will be missed. Thank you for all you have done to expand God's Kingdom and for taking the time to touch my life and the lives of so many others. I love you Tom.

Haystack rock. Boy, have I missed this beach. If it looks familiar Goonies and part of Kindergarden Cop was filmed here. I hate to disappoint everyone, but haystack is solid and contains no pirate ship. :)

Correction:Haystack Rock is NOT solid! There is a cave that goes all the way throughit (I've been in there with Duffer Dave)One part of the cave has anentrance on the beach side and it splits into two and comes out in twoplaces on the ocean side. -Papa Nick

Long time over due

Wow, it seems like ages since I have posted. We just got back from Oregon and had a great time!! I will post some pictures from there. Although please don't take offense if I took a picture of you and don't put it up... I didn't ask to put your face on our blog, so it is not up there. :) We were so busy! Also James heard that his mentor is in a coma. Here is his blog. He has touched our lives and hopefully reading his blog will touch yours as well... Tom

There is NO question

Did you ever wonder on bad days if they switched your child?! Not for real, but just joking?! There is no question who this girl belongs to. :) We can not deny her. Either of us!

Reading

Ok... Funny story. Shannon came over to see us for a day. We decided to go to the mall and walk, and were looking for some special sunglasses for Abby. We were walking through Macy's and here is Jonah reading the overhead signs... Women's App-ur-al... Elevator... Peh- Peh- (ok, I can't go any farther. This is a family blog) ... So use you imagination how it was finished. I said, "Jonah it is Petites". Everyone in a 10 foot radius stopped and was cracking up.

4th of July a little late

We had a good 4th of July. We went down to TN to see James' folks. We also got to see some old (they are young) friends and their beautiful baby boy. Then we came home and saw the fireworks display over our roof from our neighbors. Nice! At least we didn't have to go anywhere to see a show.
