Todays excursion

I wish I wish will all my heart...

Today we (Jason, I and the kids) went to down town St. Charles and then to the riverfront park. What a great time. The kids got worn out and so did we!! We saw a frog, snake, butterflies, Canadian goose, bees & the old train station.

James and the kids dropped Jason and I off at the Missouri Botanical gardens so we could take pictures. I don't blame him because who wants to watch 2 people take pictures all day. :) But we had a great time and ate our way home from the Hill (little Italy) and then to Gus' pretzels. Ummmm.... We had a big day.

Uncle Jason!!!

Uncle Jason is here for a visit!! The kids have had so much fun playing with Uncle Jason. Jonah is all over him and Abby likes to say , "Uncle Jason" and he says "what?!" and then she just laughs and smiles. It is so funny. So far we have gone to the Butterfly house and then today to the MO Bot. gardens. (pictures of that later)

Mama got a new Charriot

After almost 5 years of faithful service we decided to retire our minivan for a smaller "Mommy Wagon". Jonah was very upset about getting rid of "Mommy's Venture" but is excited about the new "cool car".

This is what James gets when he gets home every night. :) They all go with daddy into the bedroom when he gets home and they "fly into the bed" and get big hugs and kisses. It is really cute. Gotta love kids! ;)

Today we went to the Meremac Caverns. We had a great time!! The kids had a good time and Jonah got to take some pictures. If we can get them off his camera I will post some later.

Car in where?!!! (So much for quiet suburbia)

Interesting story...
This morning we awoke just like any other day... except our neighbors all outside. Apparently 1 1/2 blocks down from us, a stupid motorist and a second partner in crime decided to drag race down our street. :) Yes, can you see where I am going? We drove by on our way to Church and we see a Mustang GT tail lights in the garage of the neighbors house!!! It is the main support wall for the second floor, so.... the house was condemned. There were 2 cars parked in the garage and the car was that far in!! He was going 60 on our street and lost control. I wish we had a picture of said stupidity... but we were on the way to church and didn't want to be late. If there is any news coverage on it I will put up the link. We can see the house from ours, and it is all boarded up now.

Ps. The picture was added tonight. It is obviously after they cleaned up and you can see where the car was... it was just tail lights sticking out. They had to leave the 2 cars in the garage (the homeowners).
