Opening Gifts
For Christmas Eve Auntie Shannon and Ron came to go to candle light service at church. We had so much fun with them!! We ate lots of food and then opened presents. Plus, Auntie Shannon brought some See's Candy to share! Yumm!

Here reindeer, reindeer...

Feeding the Reindeer

Sprinkle... or dump...

Toss!

The kids had fun Christmas Eve putting out reindeer food. The glitter glistens in the moonlight and the oats are for them to eat. Sara (one of our babysitters) has made it a tradition. Jonah always looks forward to it.

Merry Christmas!

Carriage Ride

Ok, I know your Santa, just don't touch me!
We had a great time tonight Downtown St. Charles. We went down and walked the streets, had dinner and then took a carriage ride with a very "Chatty" driver. They have Santa's, Carollers, and various others in period costumes. We had so much fun! Merry Christmas everyone!

Funny Card

Today I was cleaning and thought of a funny card that I HAD to make for my dad. He is an avid hunter and all around funny guy. So, I made this card for him. I giggled the whole time I made it. Who said I wasn't creative... well most of the time not, this is the exception. Sorry dad if you see this before you actually get it in the mail. I can not account for the USPS, but yours has a personal note in it. :)

Nap Time!

If you can't tell, Abby fell asleep standing up with her head on the couch. She was so tired. Her knees would bend and then she would jerk up all with here eyes closed. Sweet baby... Shh....

Ps. Doesn't she look like one of those dolls that these crafty people make?!!

Sledding

After Abby threw a snowball.

**SNOWBALL FIGHT!!**

Jonah going for a ride

Jonah and Mommy before our tandum run down the hill!!!

We went sledding in the back yard today!!! Contrary to what the picture looks like, Abby loved it!!!! She kept going down the "slide" and actually did it 2 times all by herself! Jonah was a maniac with the up and down the hill sledding. We look so, um... not polished with our recycling back board and inner tube from the pool as our sleds. Oh well. We could not muster $15 for a piece of foam so we improvised. The best non $15 we ever didn't spend. Not sure if that made sense, but it did in my head. :) Enjoy!

Good morning everyone! We had an ice storm yesterday and last night we got snow!!!! We have between 3-4 inches with a sheet of ice underneath. It is pretty cool and all, but slick. Go figure... ice, snow... Jonah is just itching to go outside. He is READY!!! I am waiting until this afternoon when it gets above 25 deg. ;) I am such a mean mommy making him wait... Hope you enjoy your day!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! Abby wanted to wear her wings last night... all night. She finally took them off before she had her evening milk and bed time. So cute. Then Jonah got in the laundry basket and here comes Abby... both in a laundry basket. What fun. Hope you all have a great holiday weekend. We will blog more later. Just had to share in the fun at the Castruccio household.

Don't hate me because I am slacking!!

Ok, so I know I have been slacking on the blog. Sorry. We have been so crazy around here it is nuts! James turned in his resignation at his job on Wed, and accepted an offer from another company. Exciting changes, but puts some more crazyness into our lives. His last day is Monday. So pray for him as he makes this new and great change. What else is new... like that isn't enough right?!! Jonah is still reading like crazy! He read us "Green Eggs and Ham" the other night. Doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but remember he is 4! Abby is starting to figure out that words get her more, so she is talking a whole lot more! So, it is down hill from here and if she is anything like me we will not be able to shut her up!
Well that is all I have for now.
Cheers!

Trunk or Treat

Our church does a thing called Trunk or Treat. The kids dress up and play games to get candy! They have blow up things also to play in. The kids had a blast and we had fun watching! Jonah was an Air Force pilot, Abby was Tinkerbell (mommy made her costume), Jonalee was retro (goucho suit and all), and James was a Cardinals fan.
