These 2 had a blast!! We had to take pictures of them. They played trains and planes. Today Clayton and Nana go home. Jonah is so sad because he said he wanted Clayton to stay forever (he said that was 100 days). :) They crack me up!

Weekend

Hello to you all out there. Well, we have been having a good weekend. My mom and my nephew Clayton are here for a visit. The boys have been having a great time! They have been playing trains (Thomas and HO scale) and airplanes and anything else they can think of. Today they went to the Mall and rode the carosel and the train (little one) and played in the kids play area. We are planning to go to the magic house on Monday. We took pictures of them, but not up/downloaded yet. We will have those soon. Love to you all and good night. I am exhausted!

Cup of Wednesday Joe

Good morning to you all friends and family alike. If it wasn't a good morning it should be now that you are catching up with us. ;) We are going to be diving into the rhelm of deep homeowner projects. What are we thinking?!!! In Feb we are going to start our new kitchen! Let me tell you that we have been waiting for this for a long time. It is going to be beautiful! After the kitchen is done we are going to dive into 2 other big projects. Grief... It will be nice when it is all done.
The kids are growing way too quickly. It is nuts I tell you. Abby is pulling up on anything and everything and can cruise on the furniture. Jonah is being 3, but so darn cute. He is really observant and puts strange things together. He asked why Papa (Joni's dad) could not come out to St. Louis. I said, he had to work and he is going to tell other people about Jesus. He said, in Papa's church (Joni's dad is a pastor)?! Well, I went to Papa's church with my cousin Clayton when I was 2 years old and we sang about Jesus (last Christmas). This kid has a really long memory. We are so in trouble.
That is it for now. My coffee is getting cold and that is almost a sin. :) LOL. Have a great day.

Standing Girl

Abby has been pulling herself up for a little while now. Yesterday she got brave and let go and stayed standing for a few seconds. Holy cow! She is all over the place. She can get just about anywhere she wants to go and pull herself up on almost anything. As a result of this new found mobility, she has earned herself her first real shiner. This morning she was standing up in her crib and was still half asleep. She lost her balance and went head first into the bars of the crib. Poor sweet pea cried! I thought Jonah was going to start crying because he comes bursting into the bathroom, MOM Abby fell and ... and... I think she is hurt. The look on his face. He cares and loves her so much it was sweet. :) We are truely blessed. Well. Off to go think about what is for dinner... hum...

Ok, today was a hair-doo day. We put Abby's hair up in a ponytail on top of her head. Yes, she looks like a Flinstone but it is sooo cute! Daddy says it is all his fault... he is right. :) The smile is enough to melt your heart. Heee! Jonah has been really restless and ready to go back to school. He is honestly driving me nuts at home! He wants to be with his friends playing. I just keep thinking Tuesday... Tuesday... He has been great with Abby lately. He just loves her so much! He is really having a great time with her and school. Although he is really ready to be back at school.
