Thoughts

Hello everyone. Another day, another post. Today has been pretty good. I got alot done, and yesterday I finally got Abby's easter basket made. Now we all have one! Abby has learned to climb baby gates. Yup, we are so in trouble. She is our rough and tumble little girl. What a crack up. Jonah had school today. He loves it. I can't wait for next year when he will being going 5 days a week /half days. Hopefully we will have less acting out because he gets bored. We try everything. I try to get out and do things to keep him busy, but sometimes we need to not being going all the time. Next projects on the list for us... organize the basement to get the excercise equiptment up, clean up the back yard, get some curb appeal to this plain front to our house. It is nice to be talking about projects that involve the outdoors.
Well, time for some relaxing... eating bon bons and watching Oprah... Just in case you wanted to know what I did all day. :) Ha!!! I have some cleaning to do and other various things.

Ok, I had to blow off some steam and do something relaxing... so what do I do??? I take a self portrait. Ha!! Joe, if you are reading this you are laughing!! Every photographer does this at some point. :) Had to share the fun. This is dollar fabric from Wal Mart. I know Ya'll are laughing too. :)

Progress Report

Ok, So here is the progress report for Jonah. It really took us by surprise that he didn't know where his neck or hip was. HUm.... He called his neck his throat and he should have know what his hip is because he hurt it this past summer. Oh well! He did great in everything else and his teacher was wondering if he is reading... yup! When I scanned it, you could see the other side, so I quick cleaned it up so you could read it. Sorry it is still messy. I also took the name of his school off. What a little Joy. :)

Today's Thoughts

Good morning all. Good morning fellow coffee drinkers, and if you are not a coffee drinker... That's a shame. You have no idea what you are missing. (LOL!) I did not take the picture if you are wondering...
Well, news since the last post. Jonah got an award for excellence at school. He got a gift certificate to a restaurant and was sooooo excited. He has teacher conferences tomorrow. We will let you know how it goes! He also started reading. It is mostly word recognition, but he does really well and insists on reading his night time devotions. He is so cute! Needless to say that is a long process, but difinatley worth every minute. Ok, now to Abby... she is a crack up! She is now into copying you. She loves blowing raspberries and thinks being scared is funny. She is still into everything and on everything. She is definately our climber. Fun stuff huh?! Everyone has decided that she has a set of lungs and can use them, therefore she will be a singer. :) They are keeping us on our toes.
Our house is slowly being put back together. We still have stuff in the dining room, but our cook top is now fixed!
Oh, Abby is up from her 5 min nap. More later...

Kitchen Remodel 2

Ok, so here are some kitchen pictures so far. It is a work in progress but at least there is progress!! If it is not your style, oh well! :) The top pictures are the "after" pictures. We still have crown moulding to put on the cabinets, base trim, and door knobs and the pantry to do. But we are excited to have a working sink. :)
