We are finally home from our trip to DC. We had a great time. There was time to sight-see and also see family. James' family came to his Grandfathers 77th Troop Carrier Squadron reunion. It was such a blessing to see them and they see our family. There are only 11 men left in his WWII Squadron. We went with James' Sister and her family sight-seeing on 2 different days. We got to the war memorials, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, The Museum of American History, and the Air and Space Museum. We lost like 15 pounds walking! James and Bret walked even farther going to get tickets left in the car and going to get the car in the rain! The kids did great!! Abby and Jonah were wonderful! All the cousins got along! Can you believe that! All 6 of them together and no one got a scratch! Here are some pictures! Oh... we saw the Marine One helicopter fly overhead. That was awesome.

Cup O Joe

Hello...
Another day another cup o joe! We are doing great! We are getting ready to go to DC to see James' family. Thursday at the most ungodly hour we fly out from here. This will be Abby's first plane ride outside in the world. :) She was a 2 time frequent flier before. Jonah is excited and he gets to see planes... he is good to go. I got my hair cut this friday and we tried to send a picture from James' phone. Hopefully we can get it up. It is pretty cute. There is finally color in it. It has been hum... 4 years since I have had color in my hair! For those of you who knew me "back when" I was always a blond. One day I got tired of being a blond and dyed it back to my normal color (dark brown). So sometimes it is wierd to see myself with not just "brown hair".
Abby and Jonah are doing fantastic!!! Abby's tummy has really gone on an uphill slope! Hope we can stay here and continue to have a great baby! Jonah looks forward to his Tues. and Thurs. (school). The other days of the week he helps me out and plays and plays. He asked us why grown ups need to go to church... His mind goes a mile a minute!
I had another wedding this weekend. Hopefully my boss liked the pictures! They rocked if you asked me. It was a great day! We arrived for a later ceremony and an early reception and went home by 9:45pm! An early night for mommy! James was home with the kids. They have so much fun with daddy.
Time to get back to getting ready for our trip and getting ready for another day...

Abby Dedication

Oct 2 Abby was dedicated. This is her before church. Her hair is like a Wild woman! Heee... We tried a little gel and a bow later. It didn't last long. Oh well. My mom came out from Oregon and we had a good time. Abby did really good durning the dedication and she even smiled at our pastor. What a crack up she is. She just found that she can make motor boat lips. That is hysterical. She tickles herself, literally! She is just growing up too fast.

Jonah School

Jonah is doing really good at school. He is learning how to cut with scissors and coloring in the lines. From the picture you can see that he is really doing well for 3 years old coloring in the lines. He raises his hand now and is getting really brave on the big play structure. He loves his teacher and is learning many songs. The other week he was reciting the pledge of allegiance. Pretty awesome!
He can already write most of his letters now too. It is too cute.

Coffee Break

I am sitting here thismorning sipping my morning coffee typing with Abby on my lap. Jonah is still sleeping, and James is off to work. This is my favorite time of the day. It is quiet, I get my coffee and Abby is a happy baby. Except on Tues and Thurs when Jonah is at school at 8 am. I still think that 6:20 am in an ungodly hour. But the good Lord has made me coffee to help cope with early mornings. Oh, and a wonderful husband to make it for me sometimes. :) We had a pretty good weekend! I worked on Sat. while James was with the kids. They went to the park and came home and played. The wedding I was working at was ALL outside. It was overcast so I didn't think of sunscreen on my arms. I got it on my face, but by the time of the reception I was a crisp lobster. Oops. My face is not touched! Sunday was a good day too. Church was supposed to be on the new property, but because of Rita we got some rain and had to move it inside. Picnic and all. Jonah was more disappointed about not having a picnic outside. We found out that Abby likes talking to other kids. It is so funny. She really enjoys being social with other kids. There is a catch though. If an adult looks at her funny... she screams! I think it is funny. We found a trick... If she starts getting fussy you can turn her upsidown and she Loves it! Goofy girl. Well, back to my coffee. I better finnish it because I don't believe in reheating.

Outta Control!

See, I do smile!

Our 2 Angels
Ok, don't laugh at my hair. Mommy and Daddy can't do anything about it, although it is daddy's fault. It is outta control! And I'm loving it! Oh, and that is my big brother holding me. I like him alot.

4 month appt

Abby had her four month appointment today. She is 90% in height, 60% in weight and 75% for her head. No news yet on her tummy trouble. The new tests came back normal so the Dr. will call us and tell us the next plan of attack. She did get her 4 shots today so she is pretty grumpy. We will keep everyone posted.
