Even the Heavens...
Even the heavens declare the Glory of God. Sometimes we forget that God is declared by nature. I am convinced that God paints for us. They sky, earth and universe are His canvas. Every time I look at the sky there is a new picture. Here is the sunset behind our house tonight. It got me thinking about His glory and His promises to me. In everything we do He needs to be glorified and declared. Nature can't help it... we should not be able to help it either. May you all have a wonderful day and know how much God loves us by painting the sky. Think of this, we were made for His pleasure, but we seem like the lucky ones if He makes beauty like this for our pleasure.

Band-aids

This poem must have been made for Abby. She is into Band-aids right now. :) So I thought I would share.

Band-Aids
I have a Band-Aid on my finger,
One on my knee, and one on my nose,
One on my heel, and two on my shoulder,
Three on my elbow, and nine on my toes.
Two on my wrist, and one on my ankle,
One on my chin, and one on my thigh,
Four on my belly, and five on my bottom,
One on my forehead, and one on my eye.
One on my neck, and in case I might need 'em
I have a box full of thirty-five more.
But oh! I do think it's sort of a pity
I don't have a cut or a sore!

Wierd Bug update
Ok, so a lady at church saw the picture of the wierd bee/butterfly/ hummingbird thing. She said, "Oh! That is a hummingbird moth". Go figure right?!! So I had to look it up because that was just a "profound" name to give this creature. Here is the link... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummingbird_Hawk-moth There were probably some entomologists out there just screaming at the screen at me what this poor creature was. It is not like it was an ant or a common house fly. So, I learned something new today. Now hopefully I have passed this interesting piece of knowledge on to you. Wheather you liked t or not! Hey, you chose to read this post not me... I am just writing it. ;)
